We camped in Ballarat. We rode through Saline Valley, Hunter Mountain, The Racetrack, up to the Ubehebe Crater, and Scotty's Castle. Beautiful scenery as usual. On the Saturday ride to Barker Ranch (aka Manson's Cabin) I had a minor spill (wiped out in the sand) and broke my collar bone (Ouch!). I rode home Saturday night and went to the ER. X-rays show broken clavicle. It's a pretty common injury from what everyone tells me. I got a sling for my arm and a prescription for pain killers (which helps with the pain but makes me nauseous). I can't use my left arm too much, and it's difficult to get dressed and tie my shoes. ;-)

So I'll be taking it easy for a 6-8 weeks, while this heals up.
Maybe it's time to take some Jeep trips. :)
